Installation Overview
- Preparation: Isolate the mains power supply before beginning work. Ensure your manual window hinges operate smoothly without binding.
- Mounting: Attach the universal brackets to the window frame and sash using the provided fixings. Secure the 400 mm window actuator into the brackets.
- Wiring: Connect the actuator to the smart control box following the colour-coded wiring diagram in the manual. Wire the control box to a fused 230V mains spur.
- Sensor Setup: Mount the wireless rain sensor on the outside of the roof where it will be exposed to direct rainfall. Insert batteries and pair it with the control box.
- Testing: Restore power. Use the remote control window opener function to fully open and close the vent. Apply a few drops of water to the rain sensor to test the automatic closing feature.
